ROB JAMES FX began behind the chair.

For more than a decade, I've worked hands-on with shaved heads and scalp micropigmentation, completing more than 3,000 scalp procedures. And one issue came up again and again: scalp shine.

Shaved and closely cropped scalps reflect light differently. Shine is more visible, sun exposure is greater, and traditional facial skincare can often leave a shaved scalp looking or feeling greasy.

I believed scalp care — and particularly shine control — could be better. So I started developing it.

ROB JAMES FX isn't white-label skincare with a new name.

Each product began with problems I had seen repeatedly in the real world — first and foremost, unwanted scalp shine, alongside the need for lightweight hydration and sun protection that wouldn't leave a shaved scalp looking greasy.

The formulas were developed, tested and refined over three years with one principle in mind: One product. One clear job. Built specifically for the scalp.
